We have supplied PTO Generators to the agricultural industry for almost 50 years. A reliable source of power is necessary for farming and a continuous rated tractor driven generator guarantees this. The company was founded by Roland Bradley in 1972. For almost 35 years he was the main importer and distributor of the magnate generator until they ceased production in 2005. He then imported the Mecc Alte generator. The unit comes in as a generator and gear box and is assembled at our facility outside Portlaoise. We continue to use the magnate speed light system which is now exclusive to us.
Generators can be assembled to customers spec if required. All generators are manufactured and wound at Mecc Alte at their facility in Oakham in the UK. Generators are 1500RPM and are of industrial standard which means they can be run continuously.
Roland continued to run the business until 2018 and it was then taken over by the Nicholls family forming a new company and keeping the Bradley name which is synonymous with generators in Ireland. Father and Son team Eddie & Darren are both qualified electricians and Eddie has been involved with Bradleys generators since 1986. All our generators are assembled on site at our facility outside Portlaoise and all components are either UK or European origin.
All Bradleys Generators are fitted with MCB-Speedlight system to indicate that the generator is being run at the right speed. Generators also come with legs that are manufactured to suit the height of the PTO if tractor and generator base are on different levels.
